Hear from Kroger Union Workers Across the Country

What is the power of a union contract?

With any union contract, we set up policies that we use to protect each other from favoritism and unfair treatment from management. With the job security a contract provides us, we can clock in and work without fear — and that’s just the start. We can also negotiate over benefits like what our coworkers in Richmond and the Tidewater region just recently won, including:

  • Raises of up to $2.90/hr over the life of the contract
    • $1.46 /hr for part-timers
    • $2.31 / hr for full-timers
  • Improved Vacation Policies
  • Stronger Job Protections
  • Better Seniority Language
  • And many other policies that improve working conditions across the board!

Why does joining the Kroger Union matter?

The way our coworkers were able to negotiate their union contracts was by coming together and making it clear that they all believe in the work they do and deserved more for it. As Kroger workers here in the Tidewater region, we have the right to fight for these same raises and benefits.

If you want to secure a better future at your non-union Kroger store with, we’re here to help: fill out the form below and we’ll reach out to you to help you become part of our fight for a better Kroger Tidewater!
